Jeannette Mukabalisa is the founder and Managing Director of Great Green Gardens Ltd, a farming business focusing on horticulture. From a family farming background, with a long serving experience with International Non-Government Government Organizations, Jeannette has developed a strong interest in Agriculture and Women’s Empowerment Sectors, while working with rural communities to initiate activities enabling the improvement of their life conditions. She, held high level positions at FAIM AFRICA Ltd, at the International Rescue Committee Rwanda, at Concern Worldwide Rwanda, and Coordinated the engagement of citizens and local government in the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals in her country.
Jeannette is a first-class honor Bachelor’s graduate in Rural Development Economics from the University of Rwanda – INES campus. Some of the companies involved in agriculture she has collaborated with are UNILEVER for IT Lifebuoy Brand and FAIM AFRICA Ltd. Jeannette’s passion for Women Empowerment as well as their family’s welfare has in sighted her to attend to a professional Coaching program with KORA Coaching & Business Academy in order for her to be equipped with all necessarily skills and tools to help women and young generations to optimize their potentials to overcome challenges and make progress toward their desired life.
Jeannette has so far contributed to several important coaching sessions organized by companies, development agencies to coach women’s and professional groups involved in business in Rwanda, those sessions include the 1. Mutual learning, exchange of knowledge and experience for agribusiness in the rural area, among 150 women beneficiaries of the Joint Program on Accelerating Progress towards the Economic empowerment of Rural Women (JPRWEE) as implemented by the UN
Women in Collaboration with Imbuto Foundation, 2. She also facilitated the First Line Managers Development Program for BRALIRWA Staff in 2019, the program was designed to support First Line Managers to Cope with their roles and responsibilities as well as enabling them to step and lead team members. 3. The other important session happened in 2020 during Covid-19 pandemic to help Women Entrepreneurs under PSF/RCWE to conduct their business clinic and alleviate the psycho-social setbacks engendered by the pandemic.
